The Islands collection for Caesarstone was inspired by the constant desire to break and push product design boundaries. The Canada-based surface and countertop product manufacturer has enlisted the help of London based studio Raw Edges in reinventing the traditional home surfaces. The design by Raw Edges was inspired by Caesarstone’s Classic collection that focuses on all-rounded fully functional usages in the home.
The result of their collaboration borne the collection called Islands. The series of surfaces allows for the different and various applications of the modular pieces, which can be converted into a cabinet top, surfaces of appliances or other various container worktops.
The Islands series is simplistic and modular at the same time, the product demonstrates Caesarstone’s potential and capability to adapt and be responsive to different spaces in a home such as the kitchen, living spaces and bathrooms.
