BuzziSpace Introduces an Open Air Workspace at Clerkenwell Design Week

For this year's Clerkenwell Design Week, BuzziSpace is showcasing a usable covered outdoor workspace called the BuzziShed. This structure houses a series of communal picnic benches, so that people in need of a spot to sit and churn out work have the opportunity to do so at the event. The steel frame is covered by Sunbrella's protective fabric and decking materials, so productivity is not interrupted by too much rain or shine.

As well as being a showpiece at the design festival, the structure and tables would provide flexible working solutions for modern offices that have the luxury of being able to access outdoor space. Now that work can happen from virtually anywhere thanks to mobile devices, smart structures like these are emerging to meet a range of fast-changing employee needs.
