Facebook has released new business tools for messenger. The social network recently rolled out the new features to approximately 40 million users. The new business tools for messenger include the ability to book appointments, generate leads, as well as other tools. The tools were previously available through a beta program after it was announced at F8, however, the tools have now exited beta testing.
The changes to Facebook Messenger will allow users of the platform to have an easier time interacting with business on the platform. Facebook further explained its decision by stating, “We want to make it more seamless for people to reach out to businesses on Messenger in places where they’re already looking to connect,” said a company representative.
Facebook also removed the Discover feature form its messaging app.
