Stenciled Building Block Furniture

Erik Olovsson and Kyuhyung Cho's ROOM Collection is Playful

Stockholm-based designers Erik Olovsson and Kyuhyung Cho reminisced about their carefree childhood days when conceiving this building block furniture collection. Entitled 'ROOM', the playful home accessory range features stenciled elements that are arranged in a myriad of fun ways.

Marrying aesthetics with function, these practical storage units are perfect for housing books and toys and remind one of the building blocks and wooden puzzles most of us played with as children.

A classic game of fitting shapes into their corresponding spaces served as the main inspiration behind this modular storage system. This building block furniture collection includes 25 individual elements and a low table that can be stacked atop one another in various ways. The furniture line is customizable and encourages creativity while allowing users to change its appearance according to their personal design.
