The BugJuggler is an insane robot -- still under development -- that its inventors claim will one day be able to juggle actual cars. The inventors have already put together a small-sized prototype capable of juggling weights up to 107 kg. The final car-juggling behemoth robot will use the same controls and hydraulic components as the small-scale version.
The BugJuggler's interface consists of a wearable sleeve and glove. This allows a user to control the robot's arms through their own movements and provide haptic feedback, offering a 'proportional force' when the robot catches heavy weights.
The developers of BugJuggler have taken to Kickstarter to raise funds for testing and construction of the robot. If the crowdfunding campaign goes better than hoped, a three-armed version of the robot may also be built.
