The New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation has partnered with 'Skinfood' to produce a skin cream called Breast Cream, which is used as a breast moisturizer to encourage women to check for cancerous lumps and bumps.
A print advertisement campaign has been launched that features an elderly women and the phrase "finally, a cream that gives you wrinkles." This brilliant image and phrase pairing means that early awareness of breast cancer is the best way to beat it. The pink tube of Breast Cream is designed specifically to remind women to check themselves daily for any signs of breast cancer.
Nearly half of all breast cancer cases are detected outside of mammograms so it is vital that women are being safe and proactive when it comes to breast cancer awareness. Skinfood and the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation have created a simple way for women to incorporate these routine checks into their daily lives.
