Geometrical Boxed Soups

This Student Project Imagines Soups Contained in Recycled Paper Boxes

This example of boxed soup packaging is a student project of Lauren Park, a student at the Maryland Institute College of Art. The innovative packaging concept for instant soup moves away from the typically unhealthy materials usually used to contain soup, such as plastic and styrofoam, instead opting for recycled paper.

The dynamic design concept sees each geometrical paper box contain two servings of soup, while the packaging mock up includes the flavors split pea, chicken noodle, vegetable and French onion. The soup itself is contained in tiny plastic bags, while instructions on how to prepare the ready-made soups can be found tucked inside the aesthetically pleasing boxes. The soup mix is emptied into the bowl of the box and water is added.
