The 'Bottage' Reacts According to the Emotion of the User

The conceptual 'Bottage' system has been designed as communication solution that draws inspiration from the message in a bottle idea to let two parties keep in touch in a delightful way.

Designed by Siyu Lou, the system works by having one user speak their message into their unit, which will then interpret the emotion of what they are saying. A built-in LED will convey this emotion via illumination with red for anger and happier messages coming through as white.

Lou explained the concept behind the 'Bottage' system saying, "Inspired by drift bottle. It could not only record our voice messages but also our emotions. Unlike the traditional ways (Telephone), the message will stay in the bottle until we open it."
