Born 2B Burn by Yarsolav Galant is Treated with Hot Fire

Fire damaged furniture is not something that a person would want in any normal circumstances, that is until he or she lays eyes on the Born 2B Burn collection. If all burnt furniture ended up looking like the pieces in this line. First of all, the design of each piece is gorgeously baroque. The timeless aesthetic is made modern with its unique finish.

Designed by Ukranian designer Yarsolav Galant, the Born 2B Burn collection "is exposed to short-term extreme heat (nearly 2000F!) which carbonizes the surface without damaging the core," according to My Modern Met. It is then infused with a special substance called epioftonol, which was invented by Galant, that "fixes and strengthens the burnt surface through a crystallization process that can take anywhere from a week to a month."
