Nooka explores various pieces of technology and the idea of body extension when it comes to certain types of tech in the exhibit 'Zonal – Extending the Body and Mind.'
The exhibition explores seven different areas or forms of the body: "foundation, locomotion, creation, core, heart, head and dream," according to DesignBoom. These sections are used as the main component of what the artists should be focusing on, and then certain pieces of technology are used to represent these areas in a surreal and metaphorical way. The headphones for example are meant to also be seen as membranes of the ears, demonstrating the integration between technology and the human body.
The exhibit will also be coming to New York in May of 2014.
