BMW Open Work Unfolds on Digital and Physical Platforms

The BMW Open Work has opened at London's Frieze, introducing a multi-sensory installation commissioned by Olivia Erlanger.

The space, entitled 'Body Electric' unfolds across both physical and digital platforms, as guests are invited to explore fictional tales that combine elements from a diverse range of disciplines, including "science fiction, economic flows and integrated design."

According to the artist, the designs consider the changing relationship human beings have toward the environment. Inside of the installation, the artist distorted a variety of images, in attempt to perfect what is considered natural. The installation aims to evoke a bodily experience through inviting guests to sit on a motion sensing bench, while surrounded by a blue light and thick fog.
