'The Bluebird's Duet' Created by Dundee Students is a whimsical wooden bird-feeder. The unique aspect about this creative creation is its ability to plays musical tunes, a wonderful welcome to the curious bluebirds who have ventured inside. The musically tuned creation is made from layered wood and dark wooden handles that are designed to hang from any tree.

When a bluebird bravely enters this miniature structure a distance sensor that has been attached on the inside signals its presence. The bird box then warmly welcomes the winged creature with a serenade of string quartet-inspired ballads. The device comes with predetermined timings, but they can be reset with your discretion.

The exterior of the Bluebirds duet is delightfully simple with a geometric pattern cut-out to allow sound to escape with ease. This invention just might encourage birds to mimic the songs played or whistle a tune of their own.
