Video Game-Themed Concerts

Blizzard Entertainment Featured the Music from Its Games Live for Fans

Blizzard Entertainment, an American video game developer based out of Irvine, California, that's responsible for popular games like Diablo, Overwatch, StarCraft, and World of Warcraft, put on a live concert at Gamescom 2016 to celebrate some of its greatest successes.

During the concert, attendees of the annual trade fair had the chance to listen to an orchestra play the 'Montage' song from Warcraft, 'Wings of Liberty' from StarCraft II, in addition to a variety of other themes that they'd have heard within the video games they love.

Behind the orchestra, scenes from the games played on a large screen -- showing off Blizzard Entertainment's impressive graphics and further immersing fans into the experience. Russel Brower, an Emmy Award-winning music composer who's created songs for Blizzard Entertainment was also present at the concert to lead the orchestra.
