Consumers are intrigued by unexpected food colors more than ever as seen, which is something the new Squid Ink Black Seafood Cup Noodles black ramen look to help play on.

The noodles consist of the traditional ingredients and flavorings that you'd find in the classic Cup Noodle that is made by Nissin including egg, cabbage, kamaboko fish sausage and green onions. However, the black ramen has been infused with squid ink that gives the broth a jet-black appearance that will be appreciated by anyone who is delighted by unexpected food presentation.

The Squid Ink Black Seafood Cup Noodles are set to be available exclusively in Japan starting on July 31 at supermarkets and convenience stores across the country at a cost of 205 yen (about $1.85 USD).
