This Black Acid Co-Op Installation Channels a Breaking Bad Vibe

Black Acid Co-op, consisting of the artistic duo of Jonah Freeman and Justin Lowe, is known for its intense art installations that whisk viewers away to another world entirely.

Its newest installation, featuring several rooms, including a broken-down and burnt-out meth lab, is no different. Inspired by the hit TV drama, Breaking Bad, which centers around a family man who is drawn into underworld meth business with good intentions, and emerges with an entirely new identity, this installation shows viewers a sub-world that they might otherwise never see. The most shocking part of this installation, however, is that each room looks like a completely traditional basement apartment, but for the meth-making equipment scattered around and the burn marks on the walls.

This hints at the fact that smiling neighbors, and good-hearted housewives might have a secret or two.
