Michigan Engineers Take Us One Step Closer to Bionic Feet
Brian G Randles — February 28, 2010 — Tech
Humans have needed prosthetics ever since the first caveman realized that without taking risk you are not going to receive a reward... or as they would have said it, "Mammoth, eat."
Injuries, accidents and tragedies occur, it is just part of life. And now, thanks to engineers at the University of Michigan, we have one more way to help solve some of the problems which go along with injury. These new bionic feet are actually powered and have the ability to return some of the impact energy generated while walking. These bionic feet are definitely another step in the right direction.
