The Nike Project Amplify footwear system has been developed by the sportswear brand in partnership with Dephy robotics as a walking support solution that harnesses the power of advanced robotics.
The system consists of Nike sneakers with an ankle-mounted brace that works with a motor, drive belt and rechargeable battery. These components will help walkers and runners go farther with less physical energy, and operate much like a second set of calf muscles to reduce the occurrence of premature fatigue.
