Playoffs-Themed Coffee Ads

Tim Hortons' 'Beware the Raptors' Ad References Jurassic Park

Tim Hortons' 'Beware the Raptors' ad is a new commercial launched in celebration of Game 1 of the NBA Finals. Game 1 airs tonight and will feature first-time finalists the Toronto Raptors against NBA champions the Golden State Warriors.

Paying homage to 90s film Jurassic Park, Beware of Raptors remakes an iconic scene while also referencing Toronto Raptors' meeting spot for superfans -- also dubbed Jurassic Park. The commercial also explores the outcome of what can happen when "36 million Raptors fans from our Jurassic Park band together to support one team."

Alongside footage of fan activity outside of the Scotiabank Arena -- the Raptors' home game venue -- the ad ends with Tim Hortons' branding and reminds fans of the QSR chain's title as the official coffee sponsor behind Toronto's celebrated basketball team.
