The Benches by dEEP Architects Look Like Desert Sand Dunes

The benches by dEEP Architects, a firm based in China, can easily be likened to the sand dunes of a desert. Not only does the wood resemble the color of sand, the undulating design of the seats mimic the rise and fall of this natural landscape. Yet the layers of ridges that make up the benches by dEEP Architects gives them a manmade appeal as well, as though they were the result of a computer program.
Created for an office in Beijing, the benches by dEEP Architects make up what appears to be a waiting room. If that is the case, this is one way to make an impressive first impression. The seating is so sculpturally stunning, people might not even realize they can be sat on until its too late.
