Everyone wants to improve in their field of expertise, and BeFrank is a new platform that helps designers to hone their skills just as efficiently as those in other domains. The site allows other professional designers, students, and hobbyists to anonymously critique work, giving designers detailed and unreserved feedback on their projects and helping them to improve both in the short term and the long term.
People who work in non-creative fields have built-in systems for critiquing their performance, from regular performance reviews to tracking numbers. However, when it comes to a creative field like design, people often hesitate to give honest feedback for fear of hurting designers' feelings about their creative piece. BeFrank is doubly anonymous: critics don't know whose projects they're critiquing, and designers don't know which member of the community submitted the analysis. This makes it far easier to be thorough and honest without fear of offending someone.
