Using a three-dimensional miniature house, this super colorful and beautifully lined bedroom illustration series takes us inside all the different rooms of this doll-like house.
Entitled 'Room For Rent,' the bedroom illustration series by Mike Ellis is part of an experiential installation show at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto. Showing us what each room inside the 3D illustrated dollhouse (Static Room, Nolan's, Mission Hill and Emma & Jameel) would look like, the artist uses multicolor LEDs to allow the audience to peek inside people's bedrooms. The LEDs help bring the illustrations to life and expose things we might not normally notice -- because we're usually not really looking for them.
The series is vibrant and shows the bedrooms in an architecturally illustrated way, which gives it an extra edge.
