Life-Saving Nail Stickers

Melanoma UK’s Beauty Spotters Campaign Boosts Acral Melanoma Awareness

Melanoma UK and T&Pm devised a campaign called Beauty Spotters and a nail sticker kit to raise awareness of acral melanoma, the most common type of skin cancer in Black and Brown skin.

This campaign turns nail technicians, beauty salons and nail art influencers into Beauty Spotters equipped to educate the public and challenge misconceptions about skin cancer. The nail sticker kit showcases some of the signs of acral melanoma to look out for, plus additional information that goes above and beyond the messaging people are used to seeing related to sun-related skin cancers.

Created for Melanoma Awareness Month, the campaign has the potential to turn “every mani into a life-saving movement,” according to T&Pm ECD Toby Allen.
