The Beautiful Mess Chair may change the way you look at twisted heaps of metal forever. This chair was designed by Alejandro Cerón for the 2011 Moscow Design Week to represent the "symbiosis between technology and nature."

I don't really understand what that symbiosis is, but it has led to the creation of an awesome, yet odd, chair. When fully laid out, the Beautiful Mess Chair looks like a semi-normal, two-piece lounger. When the pieces are stacked up, the chair takes on a completely different form, becoming a piece of abstract art. The transformation is unique in that both forms are functional, one as a chair and the other as a work of art. I wouldn't be shocked if more art furniture like the Beautiful Mess Chair became more common. Why buy a chair and a sculpture when you can get two for one?
