For me, summer evokes images of laying in the sun while reading a good book, which is exactly what the Beach Library is all about.
Designed by Matali Crasset, the Beach Library is a concept design in Istres, France which is made up of a steel structure with three mini shading areas for readers to relax and enjoy their favorite novel. Although the library may look small, it offers 300 titles to choose from. What I love most about the Beach Library is how vibrant and fun it looks - bathed in orange, blue and red - considering how most libraries are usually a drab grey.
Even if you're not lucky enough to experience this incredible library by the water, you can bring your own book to the beach this summer and read away.
