Using the classic Pillsbury refrigerated Original Crescent Rolls, channeling one's inner baker has never been easier.
The Banana Cream Pillsbury Crescent Doughnuts recipe was conceived by the team over at Serious Eats in collaboration with Cooking Channel's Brigitte Nguyen. Using one package of the pre-made dough, which makes two cronuts, the recipe also calls for homemade banana cream, banana sugar and, of course, some glaze. Once the donuts have been fried up, Nguyen demonstrates how to inject them with the cream and then cover them with the glaze and sugar.
