Bake Shoppe is a fun new bakery in Toronto that puts a fresh spin on a variety of classic treats that will take you back to a simpler time. The Shoppe itself is also a unique and dynamic space, even boasting a clever neon "Baked" sign above the enticing selection of ice cream flavors (which includes a toasted marshmallow variety).
Bake Shoppe's menu features plenty of grownup, homemade versions of childhood favorites like Pop Tarts, Passion Flakes and s'mores. The menu also includes more modern, health-focused options like an oatmeal hemp cookie, while they also make wedding cakes.
The shop also plays host to a variety of pop-up shops, currently hosting one by local artist Corey Moranis, who creates candy-inspired jewelry. Bake Shoppe was founded by the same team behind Toronto's Wedding Cake Shoppe.
