Wendy's Canada Just Debuted the Bacon Jalapeño Chicken Sandwich

Things are heating up both outside and inside Wendy's restaurants with the debut of the chain's new Bacon Jalapeño Chicken Sandwich. Available exclusively in Canada, the new dish offers a fiery blend of hot peppers and spices.

The new Bacon Jalapeño Chicken Sandwich is a hearty sandwich that starts with a 100 percent Canadian chicken breast fillet that's been marinated in a blend of hot peppers and smokey spices for added heat. The spicy chicken breast is then topped with pickled jalapeño slices, applewood-smoked bacon, melted cheese, fried onions, cheese sauce, and a smoky jalapeño sauce. The extra hot combination of ingredients is then sandwiched between two toasted buns.

With consumers increasingly open to spicer foods, this new chicken sandwich doubles down on firey jalapeño flavors.
