The rise of virtual reality technology has created a new demand for computing solutions that requires a certain level of mobility like the Alienware VR Backpack Computer enables.
Designed to free users from the shackles of stationary PC systems, the backpack was created in collaboration with Zero Latency, a company specializing in free-roam VR technology.
The Alienware VR Backpack Computer is currently unnamed, but is powered by the Alienware Alpha PC hardware inside alongside an AMD Radeon RX 480 video card. The unit was unveiled at the E3 PC Gaming Show and is currently in the working concept phase. However, it's likely that the conceptual PC backpack will be making its way to the market as soon as possible to help satiate demand for VR-centric technology.
