The bathroom tap might be a necessary item, but that doesn't mean it has to look necessary -- a sentiment Axor Design shares. This firm has created a project dubbed Waterdream that explores new ways to access water in this particular room. Although the designs can easily live in other areas of the house as well.
Looking more like miniature water fountains than actual faucets, the entries to Axor Design's Waterdream project range from artistic to futuristic. It involved five Axor designers and architects who left the idea of anything standard at the door. Each design revolved around the Axor U-Base – a universal mixer base onto which custom-made spouts can be fitted with ease.
