Prepare to be blown away by the AutoNOMOS BrainDriver. German researchers AutoNOMOS have been developing technology for autonomous autos since 2006, but the BrainDriver is without a doubt their coolest creation yet.
The AutoNOMOS BrainDriver is a program that lets users drive a car using only their thoughts. A computer is programmed to read a driver's brain waves corresponding to left and right turns along with accelerating and decelerating. The system has a little bit of a delay, but more or less works as advertised. Check out the video to see the AutoNOMOS BrainDriver in action.
