This All-Electric Concept Audi SUV Boasts a 300 Mile Range

Audi SUVs will never look the same again with a plan to release a fully electric vehicle with a 300 mile range -- from a single charge. Audi is working with LG and Samsung to help develop the concept further.
The tech companies have been tapped with helping the project because of their lithium-ion batteries that power cellphones, laptops and other electric cars. Audi's parent company Volkswagen is heading in a more eco-friendly direction by increasing its product list from 52 to 60 next year, some of which will be electronic vehicles.
In comparison, the Nissan Leaf and BMW i3 allow for 80 miles for a charge, which is more than tripled by Audi's concept SUV. Although small cars are on the rise, the demand for SUVs still remains high. Audi's new vehicle may be the balance between size and power while remaining eco-friendly.
