The AT&T Connected Life smart home security service has been debuted by the brand as a set of solutions that leverage the capabilities of Google and Abode. The service leverages the Google Home APIs to allow hardware to be integrated into the AT&T app alongside the solutions from Abode to help users enjoy a customized experience. The service provider also utilizes the Abode Security Kit to help users get started.
The AT&T Connected Life smart home security service is split into a variety of different options including the starter kit priced at $399, which comes with the aforementioned Abode Security Hub, the Google Nest Doorbell, a motion sensor and two door/window sensors. The advanced kit comes in at $699 and includes an additional two door/window sensors, a second motion sensor, a Nest Cam, a key fob and a wall-mounted keypad.
