Artists on Acid

Artists are Given Controlled Substances as Design Inspirations

This artistic series combines hallucinogens and art to create a glimpse into the mind of an artist on acid. I absolutely adore it for those reasons.

Each drawing comes with a description of the artist’s state of mind at the point at which he/she painted the work. These observations were made by a tester and also described by the artist.

What is even more interesting to me, is that there is a controlled subject—that is, the artist was told to draw one thing and one thing only by the tester. Seeing how the depiction of the controlled subject changes in style, is very interesting and worth checking out.
