6D.ai is an AR mapping startup that has recently had its platform complete a beta testing phase. The San Francisco-based startup begun beta testing in October and is now prepared to begin releasing apps.
The company will implement a pay as you go subscription model, which will cost anywhere from $20-50 per app depending on different usage options. Additionally, different pricing options will be available for users who download over 50,000 AR maps.
The AR startup already has some key customers for its services, which include Autodesk, Nexus Studion and lastly, Accenture. 6D.ai will also enter into a partnership with Qualcomm, which will work towards integrating company technology for use in AR headsets.
