Anyone with a smartphone probably recognizes that mobile apps are big business, with millions of apps vying for downloads and user play, and Apployer is a new service that aims to better feed the app development pipeline. The service is essentially a curated job board tailored specifically to mobile app development positions.
According to Entrepreneur magazine, app are expected to comprise a $77 billion industry by the end of 2017. That number is nothing to sneeze at, and yet there have not previously been any services that help developers with mobile skills to find a position in that exploding industry. Apployer aims to be that service, with postings from both up-and-coming startups and established players like Microsoft and Square.
