Apple has been testing 'Apple Music For Business' for several months, and recently the company partnered with PlayNetwork Inc. on a music license deal for commercial use. The deal also dictates that Apple Music For Business will compile hundreds of different playlists for its clients to use.
The new agreement gives PlayNetwork the ability to provide businesses with music while not needing to worry about licensing agreements.
Currently, Apple already has 25 clients for its Apple Music For Business service, and the company will work to provide music for 10,000 different retail locations.
Other streaming services, including Spotify and Sirius XM, offer similar services for commercial music use. The services offered by Spotify and Sirius XM cost business roughly $30 per month.
