Altitude Angle has created an API platform that will provide drone safety. The API platform uses data as well as traffic management systems to make safer drone flights. The system monitors airspace and keeps track of unexpected events.
If flight conflicts are detected the Conflict Resolution Service (CRS) will determine adjustments that need to be made. The CRS performs two actions if a conflict is found, the first is strategic deconfliction, which allows drone operators to submit flight planes to find any potential conflict.
Strategic deconfliction will be available starting on July 23rd. The second element that CRS provides is titled Tactical Dconfliction, which gives information to drone operators so distance can be maintained between flights.
