The new APC San Francisco store is the latest in a series of openings as the French contemporary fashion brand continues its expansion along the American west coast. The stylish boutique also follows in the brand's tradition of selecting an off-the-beaten path location that strays from the conventional luxury shopping strip. Located in San Francisco's hip Jackson Square neighborhood, the store is surely unique in that the space formerly housed an art gallery and dates back to 1860.
The lofty space was a collaborative vision of APC creative director Jean Touitou and French architect Laurent Deroo, who has frequently worked with the brand in the past. The APC San Francisco boutique takes advantage of the unique layout of the space by using alcoves as creative presentation spaces for the collection.
