Anti-Slip by Alexander Schnell Sramek, a 3D designer based in the United Kingdom, is a series of furniture that was born out of necessity. Tasked with the job of furnishing a bedroom, Sramek rebelled against the idea of purchasing mass produced products. Instead, he embarked on collecting discarded furniture along the streets of London to create an aesthetically pleasing space without spending a dime.
Taking 30 days and 30 nights, Anti-Slip by Alexander Schnell Sramek was born. Comprised of a desk, an armchair and a bed side table, each piece was customized to fit perfectly into the room. Interestingly, Sramek notes, "Our society still desires ‘the new’ and designers are required to revisit and redistribute what surrounds them already."
