BVLGARI Launches a New Special Edition 'Amerigo Vespucci' Timepiece

Italian luxury brand BVLGARI has announced the launch of the 'Amerigo Vespucci,' a limited-edition wristwatch that pays tribute to the iconic Italian Navy ship of the same name. Accordingly, the watch's color scheme and detailings draw inspiration from the vessel's design, while also introducing modern-day technical elements.

For example, the 'Aluminum GMT' version comes with an arrow-shaped hand and two 12-hour zones in black and yellow, one for daytime and one for nighttime. Other notable features of the luxurious watch include a titanium crown, Super-LumiNova hour-markers, and star white hands.

"Like a challenge to the commands of time, the Bulgari Aluminium GMT sets a new course with this Amerigo Vespucci Special Edition, sailing in the wake of the great explorers,” reads a statement from the brand. β€œIt is a celebration of the discoveries that revolutionized the era, as well as of perseverance and team spirit."
