The original version was created as a prototype for the U.S. Navy's Explosive Ordnance Divers and Underwater Demolition Team in 1957, but was never produced at scale. The version seen here retains the 41mm case with a bead-blasted finish as well as a no-date black dial, vintage-style khaki. fauxtina lume and a double domed sapphire crystal.
