Alexander Roberts recently launched a Kickstarter campaign to bring American-style donuts to Paris. While donuts are easy to find across the US, they are harder to track down in European cities such as Paris. This portable donut shop would remedy the problem by making donuts more accessible to Parisians.
'Doughmade' is a portable donut shop towed by a bicycle equipped with a cargo attachment. According to Roberts, the portable bakery is intended for pop-up events, catering and collaborations with existing cafes who want to provide customers with American-style donuts. All of the donuts will be baked by Roberts himself, who is a professional baker by trade.
Roberts' portable bakery demonstrates the growing demand for American-style sweets outside of the US.
