The American Trade Hotel is aptly named since the space was once home to retail outlets as well as national headquarters for various American and foreign companies. Yet the recently restored accommodations are much more than its past. Instead, the romantic design of the American Trade Hotel owes itself to a nostalgic idea of passing through time. Commune Design partner Raman Alonso shares, "The narrative we built was if the hotel was 400 years old and owned by the same family. Little by little each generation had taken it over and it was a marriage between different time periods and different cultures."
Full of vintage and modern touches, the American Trade Hotel is part of the Ace Hotel family.
