The sharp piece of furniture would be manufactured from a pair of aluminum plates that are cleanly cut and precisely creased to give load-bearing support and an embrace to its sitter.
There is a strong rigidity to the shaping of the contemporary perch, providing a very boxy seat with its flat and perpendicular backrest and arms. So that hardware was not necessary to bind any separate components together, the material forms U-shaped bends that create space within the object.
