All of a Piece by Earnest Studio, a Rotterdam-based firm founded by American product designer Rachel Griffin, is a stunning tableware line that can fulfill a slew of purposes. Although each piece looks more sculpturally decorative than infinitely practical, therein lies the beauty of the collection. It manages to combine function and form in a beautifully intuitive way. This is taken to the next level considering that the pieces are all made out of scrap materials.
The mix-and-match sections of stone and wood that make up All of a Piece by Earnest Studio were taken from the leftovers of stone milling companies. Griffin writes, "I collected offcuts that seemed too lovely to be discarded and began searching for a way to transform them into functional objects."
