Non-alcoholic drinks have surged in popularity over the past several years as consumers seek out healthier alternatives, which is seeing brands respond with new options like the Birell alcohol-free beer. Launched by the Carlsberg Group in Poland and Bulgaria, the beer comes in two variations including Belgian Wit and Pilsner Lager that make it perfect for those with different preferences to enjoy. The beer is reported to have a mouthfeel, taste and body that is just like a traditional beer yet is free of alcohol, artificial colors and flavorings.
Speaking on the new Birell alcohol-free beer, VP of Alcohol-Free Brews for Carlsberg, Shawn Gallegly, said, "Bringing the Birell launch to the Carlsberg portfolio further adds to our focus on brewing for a better today and tomorrow. With Birell, it’s a positive approach on living more. By giving consumers the opportunity to enjoy a great tasting alcohol-free beer, we aim to inspire consumers to fulfill their active lifestyles."
