This spring, Brooklyn Brewery is adding to its collection of craft beer products with an all-new alcohol-free lager called Special Effects. In order to keep up with the demand for low- and no-alcohol options, Brooklyn Brewery developed a special fermentation method that limits fermentation yet still allows for traditional beer flavors to come through—as such, the 355-milliliter bottles boast just 0.4% ABV.
Brooklyn Brewery Special Effects is said to be hoppy and golden with a "bready sweetness,” a piney aroma and a bitter finish. Beyond flavor, the lager offers plenty for consumers to discover. True to its name, the alcohol-free beer is packaged in a bottle that's decorated with a bold pattern and fluorescent inks that capture its unique essence.
