AKILA LA works in collaboration with the Grateful Dead collection of sunglasses, marking the first-ever collection of eyewear by the rock band. The capsule features two iconic AKILA silhouettes: the Apollo frames and the Begonia frames. Both of the sunglasses are completed in a fresh set of colorways.
The Apollo frames are offered in a blend of Black and Green, Havana and Rose, and Tokyo Tortoise and Grape. On the temples, there is a lineup of the colorful marching bears that are true to Grateful Dead's branding language. The Begonia is a retro design that is offered in three iterations -- all with tortoise patterning temple in either a yellow tint, blue tiny, or a red tint.
