Ray-Ban had appointed A$AP Rocky as their creative director recently and together, have unveiled the Blacked Out collection. This is his debut range and reimagined three classic Ray-Ban silhouettes that are made with ultra-black lenses and bold design updates.
A$AP Rocky explained in a press release, “I’ve always admired Ray-Ban’s ability to stay true to its roots while constantly evolving. I’m excited to be part of the strong heritage and develop the next chapter for an iconic brand like Ray-Ban." As a whole, the capsule showcases the evolution of the Ray-Ban styles as the Mega Clubmaster is likely the most vintage-looking pair with gold metal hardware on the bridge and the bottom section of the frame.
