Photographer Ajda Schmidt snaps minimalist shots of architectural scenes as he travels around the world. The young photographer looks through his camera lens with an extremely geometrical point of view in 'All quiet on the eastern front.'
There are individual snapshots in the series but there are also photographs where four small photos are combined in order to create a collage. The winter scenes combined with the linear white architecture makes for a modern wonderland. In one image, there is a polished staircase that weaves in and out of the center of the photo. The slippery slope and the green door frames in the background create an intricate architectural scene.
Ajda Schmidt is a talented photographer who is able to create sights that capture our attention despite their simplicity.
